Accelerate is the Cleveland Leadership Center's signature annual community fundraising pitch competition, held in Cleveland, Ohio. The 2027 edition runs across two rounds: The Prelims on Thursday, January 28, 2027 at the Cleveland Foundation (6601 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44103), where selected applicants pitch to a panel of community leaders; and The Finals on Thursday, February 25, 2027 at the House of Blues (308 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114), where finalists compete on stage for a $5,000 grand prize. Everyday citizens of all ages pitch ideas to improve the Cleveland community across categories including Climate & Energy, Education & Creativity, Health & Well-being, and Social Change. Applications to pitch at Accelerate 2027 opened October 1, 2026.
