The Morro Bay Bird Festival is a nonprofit celebration of the rich birdlife of Morro Bay and its surrounding habitats on California's Pacific Flyway. The 2027 festival runs 14 to 18 January 2027, with registration opening 7 November 2026. Based at the Morro Bay Community Center (1001 Kennedy Ave), the festival offers field trips, workshops and lectures for birders of all levels, set within a Globally Important Bird Area and a designated State and National Estuary.
