About POWERGEN 2027

POWERGEN is the industry’s leading business and education hub for power generation professionals. The conference brings together generator owner-operators, engineers, manufacturers, consultants and service providers who build, operate and maintain reliable megawatts during a period of rapid load growth.

POWERGEN 2027 will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah from 18–21 January 2027. Programming begins Monday 18 January (including POWERGEN University, tech tours, partner programs and networking) and continues through Thursday afternoon 21 January.

Attendees see what is working in the field, discover new technologies and connect with the companies that support their projects. The exhibit hall features hundreds of companies offering products, technologies and knowledge for the power generation industry. Education covers gas turbine and combined cycle, data centers, operations and maintenance, nuclear and related topics.
