TANKSTELLE & MITTELSTAND is the oldest exhibition for the petrol station service centre in Germany. Held every two years since 1983, it focuses on the tankstelle and Mittelstand sectors at Messe Essen in Halls 7 and 8 (East entrance, Messeplatz 1, Essen).

The fair offers exhibitors and visitors a clear concept focused on fuel retail, shop and convenience, commercial car wash, and innovative services—from established industry leaders to newcomers. Exhibition themes include fuel and forecourt business (dispensing technology, environmental systems, alternative fuels), shop and convenience, commercial car wash, and business services such as financing and training.

The 2027 edition runs Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 June 2027, open 09:00–18:00 each day. Admission is restricted to trade visitors. Organizer: Einkaufsgesellschaft freier Tankstellen mbH (EFT).
