About the show
Emerging markets are increasingly driving global economic growth, and in the MENA region returns on foreign investment often outperform those of many other emerging markets. Egypt, with its diversified economy, is among the most promising hubs for trade and investment. Paper and paperboard consumption across MENA stood at around 17 million tons in 2024 and is forecast to reach nearly 19 million tons by 2035, with packaging, household and sanitary papers, and paperboard as the key drivers of this expansion.
