Intec is the International Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Manufacturing and Automation, Europe's key get-together for the metal processing industry, held every other year at Leipziger Messe in Leipzig, Germany. The 2027 edition takes place 2-5 March, presenting innovative precision technology for day-to-day manufacturing challenges. The latest edition featured around 700+ exhibitors from 26 countries across more than 35,000 sq.m. of exhibition space, and attracted roughly 17,800 visitors from 42 countries. The fair covers machine tools (cutting, removing, forming), manufacturing and automation technology, additive processes, laser systems, welding technology, machine components and accessories, tools and chucking devices, automated production and robotics, measurement engineering and quality assurance, as well as production technology services. It runs concurrently with the international Z Subcontracting Fair, together covering the entire production process and value chain. Visitor target groups include CEOs, business owners, operations managers, production managers, procurement professionals, technicians, planners and tradespeople.
