The Fossil Show " Fossilien Boerse" near Stuttgart Airport - 2027
Fossilien Boerse - The Show for Fossils takes place on 20-21 March 2027 at the "Kubino", In den Anlagen 6, 73760 Ostfildern-Nellingen, Germany, close to Stuttgart Airport. This traditional event has been running for nearly thirty years in the region near Stuttgart.
The show is one of the world's largest gatherings of fossil dealers, with around 100 dealers from all over Europe and beyond presenting their fossil treasures. A huge diversity of material is on display and for sale: treasures from the beginning of life more than 550 million years ago through to large mammals that roamed the forests of primeval Germany - all available to be seen, touched and experienced. Highlights typically include Bundenbach slate fossils, giant trilobites, ammonites from Germany and worldwide, crinoids, megalodon shark teeth, Eocene fossils from the Messel site, preparation tools and equipment, plus specialist paleontology books and antique literature. The German Paleontological Society (PALGES) is also represented.
Opening hours: Saturday 10:00-18:00, Sunday 11:00-16:00.
Admission: Saturday 10 EUR (free for children and young people up to 16); Sunday 5 EUR, free for Saturday visitors.
The venue is easily reached: close to the nearest motorway exit, within walking distance of the "Ostfildern Nellingen" station (rail, subway and bus) and in close proximity to Stuttgart International Airport.
