ConGregate, a science fiction convention, is run entirely by volunteers in Winston-Salem. In addition to the traditional programming (panel discussion, concerts, costume contest, short film festival and charity auction), we host a lot of interactive programming. Our con is interactive, allowing fans to engage directly with guests and fellow fans. We offer much more than a large hall with vendors and guest.
ConGregate and SAGA will partner in 2024. SAGA is an excellent conference for professional development of writers. You must not register for CONGREATE if you plan to attend SAGA. You are automatically enrolled in ConGregate as part of your SAGA membership.

Film Freeway is now accepting submissions for the ConGregate Short Film Festival.
We are thrilled to announce that The Phantom of the Opera, the original silent film from 1925 will be screened at a special event. Valentine Wolfe, Guests of Honor will perform a live soundtrack for the film.
ConGregate is at the Downtown Marriott Hotel (main con hotel), and Embassy Suites, both in downtown Winston-Salem.
