Lakeland Pigfest is a two‑day barbecue festival held Jan 22‑23 2027 at the SUN ’n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland, FL. The event combines food, live music, community charity, and a major competition featuring several categories: the "Anything Butt" contest (appetizer, sauce, dessert, steak), the Kingsford Professional (Pro) Division, the Publix Backyard Division, and the Kids‑Q/ Applegate Kids‑Q youth division. Winners are listed annually from 2015 through 2026. Admission is $5 (kids 12 and under free) and attendees can purchase Pig Bucks to support competing teams and local charities. The festival has donated over $1 million to area nonprofits since its start in 1997 and is supported by diamond sponsors. The schedule includes a Friday evening session (5 PM‑10 PM) and a Saturday daytime session (10 AM‑5 PM).
