The Hong Kong New Year's Eve celebration centers on a 12‑minute synchronized pyromusical fireworks display over Victoria Harbour at midnight on December 31. Free public viewing points span both sides of the harbour, including Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront Promenade, Hung Hom Bypass, Central Waterfront Promenade, and the Convention Centre/Bauhinia Square. Ticketed experiences feature several fireworks cruises—ranging from open‑bar yacht dinners to family‑friendly decks—departing from Kowloon City Ferry Pier, Tin Hau Pier, and Central Pier 8. Sky100 Observation Deck offers a paid countdown party with drinks and live music. Additional venues include Star Ferry piers (Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai) with rooftop viewing, Ocean Terminal rooftop, Hong Kong Disneyland’s Castle of Magical Dreams countdown, and Lan Kwai Fong’s street party.
