SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run Atlanta 2027
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run Atlanta is an annual road race presented by Ventures Endurance in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Runners choose a chip-timed 5K or 15K through a course that passes landmarks such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia World Congress Center, and the Georgia Aquarium; 15K participants also run past City Hall, Grant Park, and the Georgia Tech campus. The official Atlanta city page lists the next in-person edition on January 31, 2027, with registration open for both distances.
Every registration includes finisher rewards such as a commemorative medal, race bib, free race photos, and the series-famous hot chocolate and chocolate fondue at the finish. The post-race party takes place at Centennial Olympic Park with music, vendors, and fondue-filled finisher mugs. Packet pickup is held at the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart (240 Peachtree Street) in the days before race day. Optional Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrades add VIP corral placement, premium cocoa, and a dedicated lounge.
In early 2026 the planned in-person Atlanta date was moved to a virtual format because of severe winter weather and a Georgia state of emergency; the series continues with the 2027 Atlanta date on the official site. Course maps for 2027 were marked as coming soon at the time of verification.
