Handel & Wandel 2027
Handel und Wandel ("Trade and Change") is the annual meeting of Germany's convenience retail sector, organized by Handelsblatt together with Convenience Shop and hosted by Euroforum Deutschland GmbH. For more than 25 years it has been the gathering place for decision-makers from gas stations, train-station and airport retail, smart stores, branded consumer goods manufacturers and their service providers.
The 2027 edition is scheduled for Tuesday 11 May to Wednesday 12 May 2027 in Berlin, with the venue listed as the NYX Hotel Berlin Köpenick by Leonardo Hotels (Grünauer Str. 1, 12557 Berlin). The program connects keynotes, impulses, best practices, panels and start-up pitches with networking formats, and an accompanying exhibition lets attendees test new products, services and solutions live. Topics cover e-mobility, AI, foodservice and retail gastronomy, smart stores and digital convenience concepts, and shopper behavior.
Recent editions: the 2026 conference took place 16-17 June 2026 at the NYX Hotel Berlin Köpenick in Berlin; the 2025 edition ran 1-2 July 2025 at the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof. Tickets for 2027 are EUR 2,200 (early bird) and EUR 2,400 regular price (sales start 20 February 2027), plus VAT per person.
