Are you ready for a remarkable adventure? The 16th Annual NYC Unicycle Festival is set to take over the city over Labor Day Weekend, from August 28 to 31, 2025. This exhilarating four-day event promises fun, learning, and a truly unique experience for both unicycle enthusiasts and the curious first-timers. Whether you're looking to learn how to ride, watch skilled performers, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, make sure to mark your calendar and join us in the heart of New York City!
The festival kicks off on Thursday, August 28, with a long-distance ride from Battery Park to Central Park, covering approximately 10 miles. Starting at 10:30 AM, participants will enjoy a scenic ride along the Hudson River Greenway, soaking in the beautiful views and cool breezes. This will be followed by a legendary ride down Broadway, where one can capture stunning photos in Times Square, making for unforgettable memories. The excitement continues on Friday, where riders will cross the iconic Brooklyn Bridge on a 13-mile ride to Coney Island. Participants will take in the sights of Downtown Brooklyn and even have a chance to ride the Wonder Wheel at Coney Island. The weekend festivities will feature activities at Pier 76 in Hudson River Park, including unicycle basketball and learn-to-ride sessions, making it a perfect blend of sport and fun.
