The Texas Association of Fairs & Events (TAFE/TAF&E) hosts its annual convention and trade show each January for fair boards, festival organizers, and allied members across Texas. The 2027 edition is scheduled for January 7–9, 2027 at the McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, Texas.

According to the association's official convention materials, programming typically includes educational workshops, the members-only trade show, talent showcases, awards programs, fundraising activities, and opportunities for networking and professional development. Registration, booth sales, and showcase applications are managed through texasfairs.com.

TAFE describes the convention as the highlight of its membership year and a primary venue for members and approved exhibitors to connect with Texas fair and event professionals.
