Health & Fitness Expo Monterey 2027
The Health & Fitness Expo is the official pre-race exhibition of the Big Sur International Marathon, staged in downtown Monterey, California. The 2027 edition runs Friday, April 23 (12 - 6 p.m.) and Saturday, April 24 (9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.) at the Monterey Conference Center, 1 Portola Plaza, adjacent to the Portola Hotel & Spa and across the street from the Monterey Marriott, ahead of the marathon on Sunday, April 25, 2027.
What's on the floor
- Official race merchandise and the HOKA BIG SUR FLY LAB
- Exhibitor booths from running, nutrition, travel and wellness brands
- Runner lounge and sponsor activations
- Free race clinics on Saturday, hosted in the Steinbeck Ballroom on the third floor
- Mandatory in-person bib and shirt pick-up (photo ID plus check-in pass required; no third-party pick-up)
The expo is run by the Big Sur Marathon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has organised the marathon since 1986 and also produces the Monterey Bay Half Marathon each November. Online merchandise orders placed before 9 p.m. on April 21 can be collected at the expo. Booth sales and sponsorship enquiries are handled through the Foundation's expo team.
