Seattle Metro Reptile Expo 2027
The Seattle Metro Reptile Expo is hosted by Northwest Reptile Expos, whose events are described as the longest continually running reptile trade events in the Pacific Northwest, established in 2005 and billed as the first captive-bred reptile event in America. The series includes the Seattle Metro Reptile Expo, the Portland Metro Reptile Expo and the Medford Metro Reptile Expo.
The next Seattle-area edition is announced on the official organizer site as taking place in Monroe, Washington on 8 May 2027 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds (14405 179th Avenue SE, Monroe, WA 98272), with the Portland edition on 16 January 2027 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland (1000 NE Multnomah St) and the Medford, Oregon edition listed as TBA. Admission has historically been US$14 for adults, US$7 for children aged 6-12 and free for children under 5, with general admission only and no presale tickets.
The one-day expo features captive-bred reptile breeders and vendors, reptile rescues, educational displays, and free raffles and giveaways. The organizer enforces a strict no-wild-caught-animals policy to support responsible pet ownership, captive breeding programs and conservation, and a one-day event policy to minimize stress on the animals. Typical hours are 10:00 to 17:00.
