San Diego County Fair 2027
San Diego County Fair
The San Diego County Fair is the largest and longest-running annual event in San Diego County, held every June-July at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard, Del Mar, California 92014. First organised in 1880 by a group of San Diegans as an agricultural fair, it moved to its permanent Del Mar home in 1936 and is owned and operated by the 22nd District Agricultural Association, a self-funding State of California institution governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. The Fair has been suspended only twice, during World War II and the COVID-19 pandemic. Annual themes have been used since 1980; the 2026 theme was Once Upon a Fair.
