Alameda County Fair
The Alameda County Fair is the county's annual summer fair, staged on the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. The next edition runs from 18 June to 11 July 2027, as published on the fair's official calendar page under the banner "Sweet Summertime 2027, June 18 to July 11".
What the fair includes
The programme combines a full carnival midway with livestock and agriculture displays in the Safeway Barn and animal areas, competitive exhibits and competitions across crafts, food and wine, and a junior livestock auction. A concert series (Big O Tires Concert Series) runs alongside entertainment stages, movies on the lawn, an artisan market and the fair's food and shopping rows.
The fair also stages a drone show and fireworks spectacular, with the Fourth of July programme as its centrepiece, plus wine events and tasting festivals.
Visiting
The fairgrounds are at 2005 Valley Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Entry is through Gate 8 off Valley Avenue or the Red Gate (Gate 12), with preferred parking at the Red Gate and the Ace parking lot off Pleasanton Avenue. Admission and parking tickets are sold online, at gate kiosks and through cash-to-card kiosks on site.
