Hanover Education Foundation Programs

The Hanover Education Foundation (HEF) enhances educational quality by empowering educators and supporting student success through private donations and business partnerships.

Supporting Students

• Scholarships: Helps graduating seniors pursue post-secondary training and education. Over $196,500 was awarded in May 2025.

Empowering Educators

• General Grants: Continual funding for HCPS staff and educators meeting eligibility criteria.
• Engagement Grants (New for FY26): Supports interactive, creative teaching projects by teams of 2-6 staff (Deadline: October 15).
• Professional Development Grants: Funds opportunities for teachers to expand classroom skills.
• Specialty/Restricted Funds:
  • Special Education: Includes the Mike Fehl Grant (creative instruction) and Caldas Family Grant (daily care needs).
  • Helping Hands: Provides resources for student needs across schools.
  • Spott A Need: Supports specific high school and feeder schools.
  • PHHS Memorial Brick Fund: Purchasable bricks in memory of deceased alumni (Ceremony: October 20, 2025).
