AZ Water was started back in 1928 and now includes over 2,700 members who are passionate about water. This nonprofit organization is all about teaching people how to manage water better and keep it clean. They work with groups like the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation. Their mission is to keep Arizona's water safe and reliable, and they want to inspire environmental care and offer training and support to water professionals.
The association is organized into different councils and committees, which focus on areas like education and infrastructure. These committees help spread important information and organize events to get more people involved. They even have a certification program to ensure people working with water are very skilled.
