The 2026 MTM Metal World Expo in Shanghai marks the 40th anniversary of China’s premier steel‑metallurgy showcase. Held Dec 3‑5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the event is co‑hosted by major steel, refractory, and engineering associations and expects over 1,000 exhibitors and 40,000 professional visitors. Eight themed exhibitions form the core: Metallurgical Industry (raw ores, alloys, processing equipment), Refractory Materials (high‑temp ceramics, furnace linings), Casting & Forging (forged parts, flanges, molds), Industrial Furnace & Thermal Engineering (various heat‑treatment and energy‑efficient furnaces), Steel Pipe Industry (pipes, fittings, cutting and bending equipment), Metal Wire & Rods (steel wires, ropes, cables, processing lines), Ti/Mg/Cu (titanium, magnesium, copper alloys and downstream products), and Alloy Materials (high‑temperature, corrosion‑resistant, high‑entropy and functional alloys).
