Measuring Technology Expo (Japanese: Sokutei Keisoku Ten) is the only comprehensive domestic trade show in Japan bringing together measurement and metrology machines, technologies and information in one place. It is organised by the Japan Optical Measurement Instrument Manufacturers' Association and the Japan Precision Measurement Instrument Manufacturers' Association, with special cooperation from Sankei Shimbun, and is held every odd-year autumn.
Confirmed upcoming edition on the organizer's official site (mt-expo.jp):
- 2027 edition: 15-17 September 2027 (Wednesday to Friday), 10:00-17:00, at Tokyo Big Sight, West Halls 1-4 and South Halls 1-2, Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
- Admission is free, but visitor registration is required.
- The 2027 show is also the 53rd All-Japan Optical Measurement Instrument Exhibition and the 22nd International Precision Measurement Exhibition.
- Co-located exhibitions include IFPEX 2027 (29th International Fluid Power Exhibition), Sensor Expo Japan 2027, TEST 2027 (19th Comprehensive Test Equipment Exhibition), the 29th Automatic Identification Exhibition, and the 2027 Intellectual Property Information Fair & Conference.
- Side events include optical measurement symposiums, precision measurement and coordinate measuring machine seminars, practical application seminars, metrology technology seminars, a measurement consultation corner, and a new technology presentation corner.
The previous edition was held 10-12 September 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight (West Hall 1).
