So, the chance to relive past glory and see cars from 1923-1979 racing on the famous Le Mans Circuit is an opportunity not to miss. Every other year, since 2002, the Le Mans Classic has been a Retrospective of the legendary race and largest European car club meeting.
8500 classic cars, as well as 195,000 enthusiasts of sports cars, will descend on Le Mans in 2022 to see more than 550 cars that have all participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1923 to 1979. To take part in the race, they were divided into six grids according to their age. Le Mans' tradition is to start on Saturday at 15:30 and finish on Sunday at 15:30. A traditional Le Mans style start precedes the first lap.
