Amador Vintners Association will host the much-anticipated return of the 11th annual Barbera Festival at the historic Terra d'Oro Barrel Room, on Saturday August 3, 2024.
The Barbera Festival offers an evening of wine tastings and experiences that are unmatched, all set in the stunning Sierra foothills. The Barbera Festival will offer attendees the chance to enjoy a grand tasting of Barbera wines produced by over 40 wineries in California.
Amador County, located in the Gold Country of California, is home to some of the oldest Barbera plants. Terra d'Oro Winery stands as a testimony to this rich history. The festival will offer attendees the opportunity to sample these wines in the barrel room. This is a great way to add to the appeal of the event.
The grand tasting will be accompanied by a culinary experience that includes gourmet food, delicious appetizers and live music. A 360-degree photo booth will be available to capture cherished moments, and a Sacred Fire Dance LED Light Show will add to the ambiance.
The Barbera Festival is a celebration of the Italian grape variety Barbera and its enduring popularity. It has found a home in the Gold Country, where it has a thriving community. This year's festival will showcase the best of Barbera and highlight its unique flavors.
