Chequamegon Bay has a special appeal for artists. Others come to be inspired by the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. This unique connection is celebrated by the community during the 61st annual Bayfield Festival of Arts. Events include fine art vendors.
The juried show of fine arts is held at Memorial Park in downtown Bayfield, on the picturesque shores Lake Superior. The show features a wide variety of art including pottery, paintings, jewelry, sculpting, glassworks and wood carvings.
Art Escape 3 is the third annual Festival of the Arts! The 9-day festival of art will take place in Bayfield County, Madeline Island and allow local artists to display their work via classes, open houses or demos.
The festival takes place in Memorial Park at 2 Rittenhouse Avenue Bayfield, WI.
Celebrate Lake Superior with us!Bayfield Festival of Arts will feature artists that are inspired by Big Lake. These artists will receive a badge saying "Lake Superior Inspired", which they can display at their booth. They will also be listed in the festival directories.
Art EscapeBayfield has a vibrant art scene, with painters, woodworkers, jewelers, potters and sculptors, as well as performers and woodworkers. Join us for our second "Art Escape," an annual nine-day celebration that celebrates all things artistic in Bayfield County and Madeline Island.Read More.
