Medina Flea Market of Collectables 2024
Medina County's Oldest Flea Market
In 1977, the Medina Flea Market of Collectables began. The flea market is usually held on the third sunday of each month. (But, this can vary so make sure to check the schedule). The market was created by and for collectors. It was never intended to be just a flea market selling socks and sunglasses. We all know that a collectible is usually something we owned as children or wanted to have when we were young! This could also be something our mother "pitch" to us!
Arrive early to get the best selection. The monthly Market is constantly changing. This Collectable Market is a great way to relive your childhood. You might see the lunchbox you used as a kid or old jewelry your great aunt Bessie wore.
The Medina Flea Market of Collectables usually has a nice selection of old postcards. Many old postcards tell the story of an exotic or wondrous vacation. A post card usually has a photo of a place or thing from our childhood, perhaps even a "beach beaut". Images of old gas stations and restaurants, as well as vacation spots help us connect to the past.
This market has a wide variety of products, including pottery, Fenton glass, and depression glass. Colorful pottery and gorgeous Fenton glass represent the artistic talent created along the Ohio River. These items are great for accenting areas of your home. These items are instantly collectibles.
Furniture from an earlier era will add a touch of sparkle to your house. Your home office will look stunning with a chair with beautiful caning, and a desk that rolls up.
